Sassy

Sassy is a 7 year old welsh pony mare.  She is sorrel with a flaxen mane and tail.  She came to us from the Loup City Auction.  When we got her home, she was so afraid of us and shaking so hard that, we feared she would fall over.  She had whip scars on her face and butt.    

After being with us for almost 3 years now, she is not quite a frightened.  She is allowing herself to take food out of my daughter and my hands.  She is still very fearful and very hard to catch, however, she is one of our alpha mares and keeps her little herd in line.
